Temple Imerium

A wave-based first-person shooter, made in Unity using C#

Starstone: Temple Imperium is a game developed as part of Birmingham City University's BSc Video Game Development course. It was developed in Unity using C# to a brief created by Game Design students, based on their original IP: Starstone.

This project was my first opportunity to work on a project with not only another programmer, but other disciplines, as my team was also comprised of artists and a designer/producer.

Due to the timescale of 10 weeks, the game was developed to represent a "vertical slice" of the final product, showcasing a single level in the game and how each mechanic works, such as the elemental starstones, wave-based gameplay and player abilities.

This project was featured in Birmingham City University's GFA Games Expo in September of 2020, where student projects are shown to members of the games industry.

This project recieved a First, with a grade of 75%.
